Submit to Perform at the 2023 Midwest Industry Conference & Awards

To be considered for a performance showcase at the M.I.C. 2023, all performers must formally submit through our website submissions platform. As is our custom since year one, all submitted artists, regardless of whether or not they are placed to perform at the festival, are invited to attend M.I.C. 2023, with up to (1) complementary standard weekend badge!
All submitted artists are also invited to promote their material, through M.I.C. 2023 Print & Online Guide Ads, M.I.C. 2023 Compilation CD & Playlist, Attendee Bag Inserts, and more! A M.I.C. representative will contact each and every submitted artists regarding these promotional opportunities. Additionally, M.I.C. Exclusive lodging nightly rates and weekend lodging package information will be made available to every one of you!

IMPORTANT INFO & FAQS
- ALL genres are welcome at the M.I.C.! We proudly showcase ALL genres of music from all over the world.
- The M.I.C. is all ages to perform at & to attend. Some partnering venues may have age restrictions and those showcases are advertised accordingly.
- M.I.C. showcase performances are generally 10 minutes long unless otherwise noted.
- Up to (1) complimentary M.I.C. badge will be available for submitted artists. Complimentary M.I.C. badges are for performing artists only! Complimentary badges will NOT be granted to non-performing crew, managers, agents, merch team, or anyone that is not a performing member of the group. If your group has 6 or more members, additional badges may be purchased at a discounted rate.
- M.I.C. showcases will take place in the evening/at night on August 25, 26, & 27, 2023.
- There is a $50.00 non-refundable performance consideration application fee to cover peer-board review and placement logistics. This fee will be collected along with this form and is due regardless of showcase placement. Checkout for the application fee is on the next page. Completion of this application does NOT guarantee you a performance slot at the 2023 conference. Placement invites will be made AFTER submissions are closed for the year.
- M.I.C. 2023 submissions will remain open until Sunday July 2nd, 2023 at 11:59PM EST
